I have found what may be a persistent CTD. I have noticed that if I press any key during the opening sequence (the part where you see images of WWII leaders) then the game crashes and goes no further. In some games, you can skip parts of the opening by clicking the mouse or pressing a key. Is anyone else seeing this happen?

We've tried this and we can't reproduce the behaviour on any of the PCs we have here. I would recommend that you check that your audio and display drivers are up to date and also that DirectX is version 8.1 or later.

NOT A BUG

It may be a problem with the Bink player, It is known to cause some problems in game as well on some systems. I would reccomend that you disable it by renaming your AVI to AVI_back.

This will cause the game to skip the intros entirely.

There is an update for XP that is supposed to help.
