Some of the small non-provincial islands in the game belong to far off provinces in some instances. One of the small channel-islands in the English channel belongs to a French province somewhat distant from it. (If you click on these small islands you're taken into the province view).

I guess that this is a minor flaw in the graphics lay out. Not very important for gameplay, but still something that could be fixed.

The two islands off the coast of Avranches belong to the inland province Vexin, although Avranches or Rennes would have been more logic owners.

One of the northern Adriatic islands belongs to the Hungarian inland province of Krizevci,

while the other one a little north of it belongs Kärnten, a province a long way to the north.

The natural owners of these islands would be the provinces Istria or Veglia...

This it not a major mistake, but it's rather ridiculous that such small details have gone wrong in a game that in other ways are so good.

;)

Yeah, this is still the case in DV. As of DV (or the 1.05 Improvement Packs) it's merely cosmetic though -- you can no longer use it as pathfinding.
We cannot edit the map so unfortunately a better fix cannot really be done.
