I noticed there was a new patch earlier today so I went ahead and booted up the game since I was aiming to play it, anyways. After re-configuring my settings to what it thought was best (a result of the patch, I suppose), I went to load my latest save and after a while of loading, the screen went black and the mouse turned to the rotating blue circle; the loading logo. I pressed the Windows key to return to my desktop and saw a pop-up message saying "Can not load flag textures!" so I clicked okay and a second one came up, clicked okay for that one and returned to my game. Loaded a little longer, and the campaign map showed up.
I played around with the settings to see if anything would change, but the issue still persists. The game works after minimizing it and acknowledging those flag messages, but it's still an inconvenience that I thought you guys should know about. Maybe you have some advice about fixing this? Thanks!
