I have an issue in my current modded game: the colonization of habitats by the AI never finishes.
I have looked at the logs and did not see anything that seemed related.
I have also looked at mods that touch habitats ("habitat AI colonization fix" and "Planetary Diversity - Planetary Habitats" and did not find anything suspect.

Does anyone have an idea what might be causing this and/or what files I need to look for in mods that contain scripting related to this?

edit: added entry for habitat from save

I have fixed "Habitat AI colonisation fix" last night.

- Implemented a workaround to an issue with start_colony script effect which Paradox broke in 2.8, resulting in overflowing colonisation progress which made habitat stuck and never colonised. Hotfix for ongoing saves is included so if you wait around two years all stuck habitats will be back to normal.

- Added support for Machine empires (and other Gestalt empires which are not Hive and not Lithoid).

This took longer than usual because Christmas is a very busy period. Sorry about that.

noticed this on reddit today, so I am not the only one:

That said, "Habitat AI colonisation fix" touches only AI-controlled habitats, not player-owned.
