Issue Pop OS 22.04 Wayland

Hello everyone!

Unfortunately, I cannot launch the game in Wayland:

1. I am using Pop OS 22.04
2. I launched the game from Steam (not using Proton)
3. The Paradox launcher appers, all DLCs are enabled
4. The loading screen of Vic 3 appears but after some time it crashes (I assume this happens while building the shaders).

I deactivated DLCs, then switched to Proton Experimental: same result.

Once I enabled Xorg, the game started running without any issues (all DLCs enabled).
Is there anyone out there with the same issue?

P.s. I have already submitted the crash reports.

FYI the game is only supported on Ubuntu, no other distro; whether that is related to your issue I'm not sure.

As to Steam, if you've used the Snap or Flatpack installs of Steam, which do not work well with our games. You need to use the native Linux client from Valve:
http://store.steampowered.com/about/
"Install Steam Now"

The other is an issue with Steam when you have Proton installed; Steam sometimes thinks you have the game on WIndows not Linux so installs the wrong version. If you see victoria3.exe (ie the Windows executable) in your Steam folder for this game, that is the problem!

Just wanted to let others know that Pop OS works now without any issues on Wayland for me (using Pop OS 22.04 with latest kernel)
