Installation Not Working

Yesterday I tried to install EU2 on my new laptop, unfortunately I never got past the play-install-unistall-exit window that pops up whenever you put the cd in. As soon as I select install, the install wizard doesn't come up, the window no longer functions and I must get rid of it with the task manager.

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Have you tried waiting like 10 minutes or so for it to do anything?

Thanks, that worked. Strange it has never done that before when I installed on my older laptops in the past.

Something to do with Installshield, (which everyone uses and Paradox does not write).
