It did. They must've removed it for some reason. Maybe they have an internal deadline of 2025 but can't confirm it yet.

looks like it was edited, so probably not reliable information that was given in error. It used to say "...launching on Steam 2025." at the end.

Still, if you're open to something very different — say, not just ruling empires but becoming the monster — you might enjoy trying something from this list of games where you can play as monsters on sacralium . Totally different vibe, but sometimes that’s what makes it fun.
