i installed aon over my game but wanted to go back to normal games because of the new 1.05 coming out then to my horror when i had uninstalled evrything it wouldnt let me reinstall! help. it comes up with saying its available to play when i load the disc. when i go into add/remove programs it comes up with an eu2 icon but it wont uninstall. is there possibly anything else left on the p.c or will i need to save 30 quid to buy another one?

In the thread I asked you to read ;) :

When you post here, in order to better help yourself we will need you complete configuration:
  • Version of Europa Universalis you are using (US, Nordic, UK, French, etc and the patch number you are using like 1.01,1.02,etc)
  • Operating system (Windows 9x, Windows Me, etc.)
  • CPU & speed
  • Memory (the more you have, the better you will be!)
  • Free hard disk space on the drive EU is installed
  • Video Card brand and model number
  • Sound Card brand and model number
  • CD-ROM or DVD-ROM brand and model number (firmware if you know it could also be useful)
  • Ethernet card (network card) brand and model number
  • Mention that you read this thread before posting ;)
 
ok it doesnt crash anymore just deleted some of the programs that were running but now when i try and install it at 24% it says "please insert disc 0 with data3.cab" help can anyone send me data3.cab or will i need to take this back to ubisoft?

before exchanging the CD, can you try installing it on another computer? Just to be sure it really is the cd...

if you have an antivirus software, disable it before running the install.

I uninstalled my game today and tried to reinstall my game but data3.cab came up? i am gonna look around and see if i get any info on this file. if i get anything i will give it to u?

What the hell is data3.cab?

I decided to try and install the v.1.05 unofficial patch, but it said I should reinstall first.

So off I went and unistalled the game and then I tried to reinstall it, but it said please insert disc 0 with data3.cab" now I don’t know what to do or how to reinstall the game.

Does anyone have any suggestions?

no, I can't, it's not the same file as you have on your CD. I have the beta, not UBI's version.
