It's been a while since I've sampled the delights of a CK MP game, and I'm looking to join up with one again. Between family and occupational obligations, I'm looking for a game that plays regularly for a couple hours. Something like 9pm-11pm, or 9:30 pm-11:30 pm (Eastern Satndard Time, US). Ideally, I'd like to play a couple times during the week, though not have specific set dates (unless that's best for all involved.)

My preference would be a counts game in 1066, having us spread about Germany in a few poorer counties and bound by a couple of house rules. However, I'm amenable to other options.

Lemme know if there is any interets.

If you are willing to join an on-going game, look us up in March Through Time, we have an open Bohemia...

Patrucio, nice to see you again :) Do I get it right, those times translate to something like 06:00 AM CET? I.e. 7 AM over here. If it is Friday or Saturday evening for you, then it would be Saturday or Sunday morning here. I'd like to get involved, tough I am not available every weekend (a gaming buddy of my old gaming-club moved to only 80 km from here, and we've played boardgames lately during the weekend :) ). Still, would be great to play with you again :)

Well, I'm flexible as to when we might play, and I too wouldn't be reliably available every week on a given day. Graduate school has an annoying tendancy of placing odd time demands on a person. (One may judge that from my disappearing from the forum for a week, but whatever.)

Perhaps we should wait for 1.05 and the seasons-holidays? :)

Damn you and your reasonableness, Jarkko! ;)

That is what we shall do, then.

With 1.5 postponed to January, is there interest to start a MP game during the holidays with the December 8th beta?

I'd join. Like the German counts idea.

Though I *may* go to Mexico. Havn't heard anything yet.

I might be interested, since the only other MP game here is MTT, and it's already too far along. Depends on what days though. But similar to LordLeto, I might be shipped off by my parents to Poland for 7-10 days sometime between Christmas and New Years'.

Man, you have a weird calendar if you can fit 10 days between Christmas and New Year ;)

Anyway, this was Patrucio's idea, so I hope he will shed some light on this :) I just hope that the gaming times are not in the late afternoon - early evening for you americans, as then it would be *very* (actually, too) early over here...

Late evening or mid day should be good for you right Jarkko?

On CET? Or are you 7 hours ahead of eastern?

I'm pretty sure that Jarkko is 7 or even 8 hours ahead of EST (CET +2 I think). Although that's simply from my memory playing with Byakhiam and other Finns (I don't know if all Finland is on the same time), so sorry if I got it wrong, Jarkko.

Hmmm, checked the time zones and Jarkko is +2GMT. So that means if we start at 9pm eastern time he'd have to wake up at 4am....

Someone should make an Indipendant Counts version of that. :D

I wouldn't mid using that, I'm fine either way.

Yes, that is true. There was this game that started 6 AM local time, that was a tad bit early. If you are on the eastern time-zone, then the best for me would be morning or afternoon your time :)
