I have played HoI 1&2 for longer than some in my house care to remember. And different mods. I thus just started CORE 2 as Japan, and working out the different logics is great fun. It really looks good!

But I have a small question. In industrial techs, Japan is categorised as a semi-ind. country. Now, as all electronic and radar techs depend on a country being an industrial economy, this seems to shut Japan out of all of the encryption/decryption and radar techs. Did Japan really have no knowledge of radar?

I havn't played very far yet, so there may be an event firing later that provides Japan access to these techs. But so far this seems a little.... strange.

Again though, thanks for your great work!

And I will be allowed to research that tech then, even if I have not been allowed to research any of the earlier heavy industry techs?

The current small yellow "R"s can be slightly confusing then....

But of course, a great general will never be fooled by what his researchers tell him! ;)
