Japn vs. USA

I am playing my first CORE game as Japan and I am wondering if I can expect the US to actually come after me. Does the AI for USA make a reasonable effort to defeat Japan in CORE?

By the way, I obviously have all the latest versions of everything installed, 1.05c, Super AI 1.3, etc...

One small correction - Super AI is not part of CORE project.

Otherwise, I guess if you not provoke USA in any way, they won't go for you and it's rather logical. There is also a chance, that if you attack the Allies, USA will join them.
