Just bought a game from you on steam, why does it crash?

Hi.

I bought HOI2 on steam yesterday, I can't even start a game because it crashes instantly.

Is the game not playable on windows 7?

If that is the case you should ask Steam to update your steam page so people don't have to waste their money.

Steam does an auto-update, unless he turned it off.

Yes steam is set with auto-update set to true, anyway it wouldn't update unless a patch was released today since I bought and downloaded it yesterday.

Have you tried reinstalling the game? It shouldn't be a Windows 7 problem, because it can run on Vista.

I run it perfectly fine on Windows 7, not through steam though. Make sure you check steam's hearts of iron forum if they have one, it may have a solution if the crashes are steam related.
