Just how much can we edit/customize our race/nation?

Can we change the nation name? Can we change what our civilians drive in to their neighborhood shop? Can we pick the colour of our nation on the map? Is there any set of "National ideas" or so (this one doesnt fit here, i know)? What exactly can we customize?

I hope we can edit stuff like race bonus such as bonuses related to population growth, science, war, etc..

I think changing the name is a must have. And you most likely can choose a colour and a flag/symbol. And as far as I understand it you are the one who choose the traits of your species.

If its anything like CK2/EU4 you can probably change just about everything. Though for achievements you might need to use a purely random race...

Gosh, I hope not. The odds of getting a randomized Insectoid Race that is both War-Hungry and Doomsday seeking, and looks like black spiders, and on an ice planet, will be too high...

I suppose it could have limiters so its balanced so you can get something you want, but isn't op

I want to too. Hopefully, we can have ethics that allow creatures to be Doomsday seeking/provoking. I'm sure everything else will be doable.
