I'm having this wonderful game with Czhechoslovakia.
I started off at 1936 by building forts and AA in every province i had that bordered germany and austria. and continued this until 1938.
I researched only artillery and infantry techs and by some miracle got asked britain and actually got into the alliance. After that i got all the land doctrines up to the early war experience analysis (including) from the allies which helped a lot. As i was allied the münich event didnt fire and the war started in 1939 when germany declared war at poland. 2 days later despide my best efforts Hungary joined the axis
The germans quickly captured Danzig, Bygozodgz and Torun but then stalled. Only a few days after the hungarians the romanians also joined... things started to look bleak for me.
After hard fighting i managed to puppet the hungarians in noveber and for some reason i got Debrecen from them.
I tried a few attacks with my armor on the germans in Bygozogz byt they all failed utterly.
Then i turned south again, eyeing romania which had just been defeated at Lvow. My army had by now 50 infantry, 4 amroured 2 motorized and 2 mountain divisions. Both mountain and 3 infantry divisions had AT brigades attached.
It turned to 1940 and the weather suddenly cleared
At first I left the sudeten guarded by 6-5 divisons in each province and proceeded with the rest of my forces to smash Romania, not surprisingly i failed utterly when i discovered that against about 20 of my divisions the romanians had amassed over 30...
I managed to capture Arad but that was it and after a while i retreated back to debrecen from there to shorten the front line. At the same time the poles had come under attack in Poznan and my armoured divisions managed to get there just in time to hold off the german victory and when 3 days later my infantry arrived the victory was sure. The germans lost 4 divisons there.. the first true victory against them.
Gaining some courage from it i attacked Breslau with 4 panzer, 2 motor and 9 infantry divisions. The germans moved in reinforcments and i had to retreat
During those battles the Hungarians had lost Sombathely. I tried taking that back 3 times and finally succeeded in the third attempt. I only managed it because i had taken off even more units from sudeten leaving 3 divisions to guard each province.
Then i got a lucky strike, while i was helping the Hungarians in the west, debrecen and then Budapest was taken by Romanians. They even invaded Lucen at one point but were repulsed by reinforcements from Bratislava.
After some maneuvering i managed to pocket 14 romanian divisions in Budapest and annihilated them with almost no casualities for myself. A great victory from which the romanians never recovered.
Because the forces they lost in budapest and the combined facts that the poles had managed to spare quite a few divisions off the front from germany, that the brits had landed in Holland and that most of the romanian units were on the western border facing me, the poles managed to capure some romanian provinces in the north and finally reached Arad.
Romanian army turned to face them and drive them out.
I seized the opportunity and struck along the danube river, routing the romanians in my way and reached constanta in less than a month and annexed romania

I left alltogether 9 divisions to guard screen the bulgarians but in about a month those duties were taken over by those lovely expeditionary forces that were sent by Poland,Hungary,South Africa,New Zealand,Holland,UK and Australia.. a bloody UN
Then i turned west again. The Hungarians had lost Sombathely (orwhateveritscalled) AGAIN!!!
oh well.. i proceeded to get it back from those 3 german divisions, but before i arrived there were something like 15 divisions there and they had captured pecs and budapest... brrr
Attacking from north to avoid the rivers i routed the germans in budapest altho i suffered heavy casualties. Numbers were on my side tho with 30 divisions against the german 9... from then on the liberation of hungary was quick and painless.
By then i had less than 70 manpower left.
Looking north i was surprised to see that the poles had captured east prussia, oppeln and that province opposite to berlin over the oder river.
Acting quickly i went on and captured Dresden, Leipzing and Breslau. I was planning to take Berlin too but those 30+ divisions there somehow disencouraged to do that
Again i turned south, leaving 15+ divisions to guard my new concquests and started grabbing austria. The germans had 1 division in each province there so it was going easily for my 20+ divisions.
In east the allied expeditionary corps had grown large enough to launch a full scale attack on bulgaria..
The brits then broke out of holland and captured wilhelmshaven and the province south of it...
It was 1940 november and i havent played on from that point... germany seems pretty much finished and i dont know where to turn next...
but overall an exciting and great game
