I typically start off in the Crowned Stag start. I've managed to become independent by capitalizing on the chaos of the realm, but eventually the Iron Throne settles things down and comes after me. Any tips on keeping your crown long-term?

Make sure you are not the only one rebelling. One kingdom can never stand against the other six if they are united.
Murder - keep killing the able and competent rulers of the Iron Throne, the kingdom will be in constant civil war and not be able to act against you. Very usefull if you are Ironborn and just wants to watch the world burn.
