Keybinding UI not implementing changes

Hello, first of all I'd like to say thank you for the new keybinding UI.

However I tried to change the keys via the UI and although changing the keys for the elements (just swithcing from a qwerty to an azerty configuration) works fine, when I tried to change the area cast to "maj" only and the self cast to "alt" (which are my keybindings in magicka 1 and wizard wars) although the UI registers the changes they don't translate when I start a game.

Worse the default keys do not work either, area cast and self cast are just plain unavailable.

I deleted the old user_settings file, tried to restart the game, used the steam button to verify integrity of game cache, nothing seems to work.

The area spell change to maj does work, but the self cast change to alt still doesnt register. When I use the Keybinding UI to change the self spell cast key to ALT neither ALT or middle mouse button works anymore, actually it is not possible to use self cast at all since there is no key for it...

What is maj? Also, alt is usually a modifier key so they probably didn't count on it being used on its own.

Edit: which is really funny since ctrl is for Halt now, but alt would honestly be a better key for it.

Oh I'm sorry maj is the shift key (we call it maj in french, forgot to translate )

Well that would explain why alt doesn't work but since I use it for self cast in Magicka 1 and Wizard Wars I find it strange that here it doesn't work...
