"This game is so vast and involving, you may forget what genre of game it is. I didn’t think it would live up to its name of being a role-playing wargame as I couldn’t understand how they could do it, but somehow, it really is. Neocore Games has managed to create a world of myth, magic, legend and storytelling, and put it on the back end of a brain churning wargame that incorporates magical elements and strategy."

"For the hopeless strategy fan out there that can't get enough massive battles with enemies ranging from mystic beasts to the Saxons, King Arthur should have been bought the day that it came out. As a matter of fact, the only people out there that should take a moment and think about the purchase are those that simply hate strategy games, even though the game may convert some of them. Like so few games before, it King Arthur - The RPG has managed to make many an early morning "quick game" turn into a late night session of "just one more turn"."

Brutal Gamer - Score: 8.0 / 10

"King Arthur is a really nice looking game, but is certainly has an old-school feel to it, in that there is a lot of information on screen, a fair amount of multitasking, the pacing is a bit slower than a game like StarCraft 2, and it doesn’t seem to “dumb down” or simplify the experience just to make it more approachable to a more mainstream audience."

"If you’re a fan of modern real-time strategy games, I’d really suggest giving it a try."
