I could not find a list of all the units in the King Arthur game so i decided to make my own of all the units that i have discovered so far. If you know of any unit that i missed out pls post here so i can add it to my list. The name in the () is the name of the unit if you wish to use the ctrl+shift+1 console. I used it to verify the stats of some of the units. I hope this will be useful to the other players of the game. best $10 i ever spent on steam :)

This list is incomplete

You really can't fully compare the usefulness and abilities of the units without more stats than this. Hit points, armor, resistance, damage, attack speed, etc. play a HUGE role in the comparative strengths and weaknesses of units.

For example, take the heavy pikes. Royal Guards are heavily armored, but very low in hit points - but they come in groups of 48. Huscarls have very high attack, lower defense and armor, but come in groups of 36. Welsh Pikemen also come in groups of 48, and have low armor, but incredibly high hit points.

Also, what upgrades do they have available? Huscarls have close combat and trample resistance, while Welsh Pikemen have trample resistance and magic resistance as options. Which you might want makes a big difference for what you might want to buy.

This stuff actually matters in battles, if you're not gimmicking the game.

Need help with a syntax issue:
When trying to give an army unit to my hero I use the following format: GiveArmyUnit <hero> <soldiertype> <count> <rank>
However, I always get an error that says, "Cannot recognize hero's name."
What are the codes for hero names? What am I doing wrong here?

Quick question about units upgrading: the chain, I guess goes like this:

footmen - axemen - swordmen

spearmen - pikemen - heavy pikemen.

How does this work for cavalry units? And for Heavy Footmen? Do they even upgrade at all?

Do units belonging to specific paths (Christian/Pagan Rightful/Tyrant) upgrade too?
 
I think this answers your question the best :) I added the basic units as well to show what they upgrade to:

The units you get after your Morality and Faith on the Morality Chart do not upgrade. Just the units in the Military research tree.
 
Also, Longaxes, Longshields, Crossbowmen, Deepwood Archers and King's Guard require the research of the upgraded basic units technology, but they are really outside of an upgrade path, they are separate units that are built separetely and do not upgrade (like morality tree units). Of course those units (and morality units) are competitve with (and often superior to) fully upgraded "vanilla" units.
