Playing as Bactria, my 53 year old king has 3 sons between 18 and 22.

2 of them become rivals and declare a duel. I condemn it.

My king then dies of stress, so his eldest son takes over - I then get the option to punish the dual partakers, which is technically myself.

My king is now in prison...put there by himself. I can release him, as I am king, but when I do he instantly loses the throne to his 10 year old daughter, and he becomes a disloyal claimant...and his brother for some reason is also out of prison but super loyal...

I’m guessing this occurred because my original king died inbetween the dual and the result, but surely the event chain should end automatically?

Also it made me laugh that he got out of prison and went ‘sod this, here you go dear’ and then instantly plotted his return
