Simple enough, when I inherit the former king and becomes king, and then saves or autosave, the game "encounters a problem and has to shut down". What to do?

Yes, thats the thing. It's when i become king of Sweden that saving, excuse me for the rough language, fucks up. I have tested to begin as the former king of Sweden and save, and that works. So I am mildly confused.

Maybe you're better off. In my current game I also started as Västmanland and became King of Sweden. But then Norway beat my ass and left me with only my Duke of Bergslagen title. That's still the family's highest title 2 centuries later, though our duchy is now completely in Russia and the family is Danish. Oh, and the game no longer loads.

Ah, but my game was so cool... I was the bloody saviour of Sweden! We had been fighting pagans too much, and the loyalty for the old king was gone, now we would strike back!
