Ok so I was playing during the Aegon's Landing, I started as a vale count, went rouge when I got a dragon, captured some riverlands and formed the kingdom of the trident, well I destroyed the title when I captured the iron throne from my father-in-law, well for some reason the riverlands are still dejure of the trident.

Did you destroy the Trident yourself manually? If so the dejure situation wont be corrected until the next mega war. There is an event that will destroy the Trident and fix the dejure map automatically, so it's probably best to wait for that when usurping/creating the Iron Throne.

I already had one, I conquered Dorne.

Ok found an old save, conquored the iron throne but now I can't upgrade kings landing or form the guard.
