LAN Game

I got this network at home, 2 pc's, cables to the router, very basic. The problem is that EU2 doesnt work. If we choose lan game, we do see eachothers names, but we dont see the game. We both have WinXP, and other games do work. So its not the network. We both reinstalled it, same patch. What am i doing wrong here?

I'd guess that the correct ports aren't open, but I'll send this thread over to the MP forum where the MP experts are...

Do you have the winXP fire wall up or and fire wall on your lan connection? if you do you need to drop it or open up a lot of ports they are list somewhere here in the MP thread

I don't have a firewall, so thats not the prob, and other games work perfect. I've got ipx and tcp installed, so i think the network itself is allright. So what can it be?
