The awesome people over at Steam Forged Games have been hard at work making the Board Game a fun experience for you and your friends, and to keep it as true to Hearts of Iron as a whole.

Missed the Devs' thoughts on it? Check out the video below!

So it's only available for purchase for 2 weeks or so? Sorry if it's a silly question, I'm not familiar with this sale concept.
I think the company they're doing it through only does limited runs. I guess it makes sense if it's a more niche board game like this that isn't guaranteed to do well in a full run.

chill brother. The Hoi4 board game was not created by the devs so this has nothing to do with them. I as an arab also cant wait for this dlc but i rather wait a bit longer and get a good dlc instead of a rushed one

I can't really see myself ever playing this. I'd be lucky to find one person IRL who'd be interested, and even luckier still if we managed to find the time and place to play.

I have both CK and EU board games and I was originally planning to back also this project, but lack of North African front and more importantly lack of US presence in Europe made me skip this one. All of my WW2 board games simulate US presence in one way or another as even the Eastern Front games have Lend-Lease simulated. An European theatre game without USA just does not feel like WW2 game to me.

But the US totally didn't do anything in either World War! YouTube commenters said so!

I can understand why they excluded the U.S. The map is already big, and you can play WWII fully without including the American continent. I am not saying that the US didn't contribute to the defeat of Germany but their role can be easily replaced. But i agree with you about North Africa, this was an important front in ww2 and including North Africa wouldn't make the map as big as if you would if you include America

You don't need to include the whole American continent to make USA playable. Most European theatre board games just have an off-map box for US production and units.
