In many paradox games, popup messages are used.
The new messages pop up on top of old messages and are immediately 'focused' on (pressing keys will apply to the new message).
The result of this is that when you want to press enter or click ok while the game is still running, there may be a new popup which is accidentally dismissed.

I understand that it is important to show new information to the user when it becomes available, but I do not believe last in first out is the correct way to do this.

Why do most (if not all) paradox games use this system and are there any changes planned in future games (HOI4, Stellaris, Vicky 3)?

If anyone prefers the current system, feel free to argue why it should be kept in.
