UK -
1. Gave aid packages to Russia.
2. Invaded and annexed all of Korea for itself (as well as some of Egypt).

Russia -
1. Invaded Finland/Sweden/China.

Italy -
1. Annexed Egypt.

Austria proceeded to declare war on the UK (probablly fed up with the UK exploiting its unrealistic advantage in all fields of the game) and invaded France/Ireland. As did Germany/Italy/Austria. This triggered a GW, in which the USA sent troops to France, and the UK deployed it's 430 or so divisions - and moved on Germany/Austria in France.

Russia joined but only held off Austrian attacks and re-took Lithuania. About this time the UK player crashed and we went to vnet were people started arguing. Then don't really know what people decided from there.

I did not take all of Korea for myself, I gave 2 of the best provinces in the country to Japan. Also, what am I supposed to do, just nothing, this is a competitive game. While I like to have fun, I doubt that anyone else would just sit back and do nothing if they were in my situation.

Sterkarm, the UK is incredibely overpowered, the fact that you could deploy over 400 divs plays testament to that.

And you didn't try and be diplomatic at all, you just up and took it for yourself!(Korea) That was probablly the last straw for the other players.

And what situation were you in? Trying to reach 500 Military points?

There is no such thing as overpowered...

I tried diplomacy again and again over Korea. Others wouldn't accept my proposals so I decided to take it. Walk softly and carry a big stick, damnit. Diplomacy cannot exist without the threat of force. If I just say a bunch of stuff, I'll have no credibility. Besides, you're the one who invaded China and just about invaded Korea. You would have taken all of Korea for yourself if not for British threats of military intervention.

My situation was being very powerful, is that a crime?!

Having a reserve of 430 divisions (4.3 million men) in Victorian times is completely unrealistic and shows that the UK is way overpowered - never mind a standing army of 160 or so divisions, almost as much as all combined GP.

I'm not saying that you exploited or anything, but that is the fact, they are just too powerful when not restrained with rules.

And me taking Korea wouldn't really be that bad seeing as how Russia was restrained from taking ANY land (and infact lost a good deal of land) since the beginning of the game. But I never intended to invade Korea, didn't really need it.
