Hello, Recently, Stellaris has refused to launch at all from the paradox launcher(Steam).
- I've cleaned reinstalled, the game
- Verified the files
- redownloaded the launcher
- tried reinstalling both 68x and 64x installers
- Updated both the graphics Drivers and Windows.
- Turned Ransomware Protection off and tried to launch
I'm at my wits end and any help would be greatly appreciated.
PS:I couldn't find any logs folder in the stellaris folder, so instead, took the logs from the crash reporter

Are you perhaps running the RivaTuner apps, in particular RTSS? If so try unloading them before running this game.

That's a bit surprising and the errors I see in that log are typical of that. It could count as a utility rather than an app - check Task manager-processes.

In that dxdiag we see crashes in cpumetricsserver.exe which I'm not familiar with - perhaps a similar app/utility?

You may as well update that AMD video driver to 2022:

If none of that helps, what do you see if you exit the Steam app and run stellaris.exe directly? Any error show?

Updated: I've seemed to have fixed the problem with the launcher. I went to stellaris.exe and when it worked, it asked for permissions to allow the app to make changes. I realised that I never gave the administration privileges to the launcher.exe itself.

Thanks so much for the help Andrew , I can't believe that I forgot to change the settings for the launcher.exe to admin privileges.

Steps to Fix:
-Steam Local Files/Find the Stellaris folder
-Right Click on the stellaris.exe > Properties > Compatibility> Change settings > Run this program as an administrator
-Make sure to also give admin privileges to the launcher (Located in the the same folder as Stellaris called: dowser.exe)
-Profit!!!
