Launcher Update failing "due to not fetching metadata for this resource"

I need some help with this one. Been seeing this error for a few weeks now. I have attached my launcher logs. Hopefully that can help diagnose.

You are seeing a comms error there:

OTOH to all appearances you are on the latest launcher 2025.7 anyway - is that what you are seeing?

I see 2025.8 just came out last night - did that apply itself or you are still on .7?

Either way can I see new logs please.

Then, do you have any other devices on this network you can do a test install and run on, to see if it is confined to this one PC or not?
