launcher update problem and ey 4 crash during launch

Hey! The launcher on my PC is not updated. An error will appear, because of this, when you start EU 4, the game crashes. I tried everything possible: deleted the game and downloaded it again, deleted the launcher and downloaded it again, downloaded a different version of the launcher, cleaned the folders through appdata as written on one forum, reinstalled Steam along with the game, but all in vain.

The basic version of the game was bought on Steam, the account also has a subscription, extended it for May, but still nothing works.

Please tell me how to be

The fact is that when I download a game from Steam, I have a launcher of version 2022.1 installed with it, and my friend has a version of the launcher of 2022.6
Therefore, I deleted the original launcher in the root folder of the game and downloaded the launcher from your site, the version was already 2022.5, but unfortunately it did not help

Do you maybe have a firewall which blocks the launcher and/or eu4? Or does your country or ISP maybe block paradox servers or the cloud providers which paradox uses or do they maybe block your ISP or country? Can post the log messages from "%LocalAppData%\Paradox Interactive\launcher-v2" and "%AppData%\Paradox Interactive\launcher-v2"? Maybe they provide a clue to what goes wrong with the launcher update.
But your launcher version should still be able to start eu4 even without an update. What exactly happens when you try to start eu4 from the launcher and does the same happen if you start eu4.exe directly?

In general it would be better if you post a new thread in the tech support forum, because the support knows more about the possible launcher update problems.

A failed launcher update will not cause the game to crash. If you run eu4.exe directly does the game start that way?

I didn’t quite understand what I should send you from the folder launcher-v2. In this folder I have: folder chromium-data and folder logs.

EU4 is starting to load, after which the game crashes and the "Paradox crash reporter" window pops out

That's a modded startup screen. Does it help if you disable all mods and undo any multi-byte patches which you might have applied?

I've tried disabling all mods and it still crashes. Also, I turned off all DLS but the effect is the same
