Been working on this one all day. I have tried all of the common fixes i could find online to no avail. Fresh install, update drivers, reinstall Visual C++, antivirus shenanigans, running as admin. Was working fine last night up until 8am this morning, went to bed for 3 hours and woke back up to the error. Attached are things that will hopefully help. Cheers.

Edit: Windows Game Pass
I have noticed my launcher is version 2020.8.SE. I think I saw a post saying it should be 2020.11? Not sure how to get the updated launcher if that is the issue

Unfortunately you were to quick in dxdiag, can you post another one made after waiting for it to finish loading please?

2020.11 is for the Steam or Paradox client edition of the game. The MS store edition has the launcher version you see, as it's standalone (SE) rather than using the common launcher installation.

Update: after reviewing the forums, I've found that I had the cloud save issue like a lot of people have, I have since moved all of my saves from steam/userdata/#/#/remote/savegames to the ck3 docs folder and it's worked a treat, try it and see if it works....

Sure thing, sorry about that. Is this one good? Made sure the bar completed.

Not sure if that will help, i don't have it on steam unfortunately but ill try and fiddle around with something similar.

I've never found where MS store their cloud saves. But I think the local locations described here are common to both editions:
