I propose a leader death chance on all leaders who are in command of encircled and destroyed forces, sunken lead capital ships and overrun airfields...maybe a 30% chance of losing the commanding officer when these things happen?

First, I want to disable the possibility of switching those leaders out at any moment. Otherwise that wouldn't be of much use.

Wouldn´t that be historicly inaccurate?

AFAIK most commanders who died/was captured in such a situation was either because they personly choose to or because they preferred captivity over coming home to meet a perhaps not so pleased leader.

One problem with this suggestion is that it would hurt the AI far more than it hurts the human player.

... do we really need another big advantage for the human player? The game is easy enough already...

I figured it could apply to the human player only...or make it an option in the startup screen.
