Introduction
Hello everybody. I always thought it would be neat to do an AAR for fun. This will be my first time doing one, and I am nervous just posting this introduction. Also since I am doing this for the first time my goal will hopefully to create at least one good post a week. I am going to tell you about the AAR before I get the story started.
First off I am going to stay away from typing up a Pre-FTL history. I do not want to do that, because I believe that can limit what can be done in the AAR. I just want you to get into the action right away.
Secondly I want to tell you a little bit about the species I created. They are a cute starfish species that are fanatic collectivists and xenophobic living under the rule of a Despotic Empire. They are called the Leblesh and the name of the empire is the Leblesh Autocracy. They are very adaptive and enduring, but they are also slow breeders, slow learners, and sedentary. The starting weapon of choice are mass drivers, and the Leblesh FTL travel will be warp travel. That is the quick rundown on the species, and now lets talk about setting the game up.
*I wanted to use as many traits as possible in the game.
I would like to tell you the galaxy settings. I will be doing the default game settings on ironman mode. I want to do the default game settings just so I can feel the game the way the developers intended before I start messing around on they type of galaxy I would like to play in. I also decided to stay with a normal difficulty, so role playing will be easier to do rather than focusing on min/max. My game settings are focusing on developer intentions on the game and role playing.
