Let The World Tremble!

I looked nervously down at the paper, over my Fuhrer's shoulder. If he signed it, then surely the world was doomed to a nightmare of genocide and evil.
Around me stood many Nazis and Communists, all looking either furious or smug. I looked down again.

"Germany and the Soviet Union, and Mongolia are now in a full-fledged military alliance."

- Signed, Adolf Hitler, Fuhrer of the Third Reich
Joseph Stalin, Great Comrade of the Soviet Union

There, it was done. Germany, the Soviet Union and Mongolia had now joined forces to rid the world of democracy.

Very cool! KUTGW :)

Awww....

Wont it be kinda easy playing Germany? :(

Tsk Tsk Tsk....

I thought you would've wanted a challenge. :(

My Prediction:

Joint World Conquest before 1942 by GER and SU, followed by a gigantic clash, with Germany victorious, because she's the one that would have taken Western Europe and the Americas.

That is, if you play to win...

It would be interesting playing as the UK vs an Unholy Alliance. Unlike the US, you don't have a chance of taking them on by yourself, and you'll see plenty of action against the Reds in the Middle East and possibly India.

An interesting premis. I suppose Germany will be carving up the European Empires one by one.

I did this once and played as UK... It really sucked, because Soviet and German AIs are not configured to work together so they start doing crap stuff when unholy alliance happens. For example in my game SOV sent its whole army to GER, leaving the finnish border completely undefended so that when winter war started Finns pushed down all the way to moscow, and then, with british help, to stalingrad also. On the western front GER stood with its humongous axis army, it declared war on benelux, but did not attack anyone almost at all... Why? Don't know, really.

Maybe I was just unluky...

Let The World Tremble!

12:00 PM, Sept 2nd
I looked at the border cross in front of me. With a grin I observed my comrades lift and cheerfully enter Poland. I moved along with them at a hurried pace, eager to unify Germany. All around me were the armies of the Third Reich.
Lifting my hand into the air, I exuberantly shouted, "Heil Hitler!"

German armies cross into Poland

22:00, Sept 2nd
"Fire the torpedoes!" shouted the Admiral. A shudder ran through the U-boat as a torpedo ejected from the compartment and swam silently toward the Polish ship on the horizon. Seconds later, the U-boat rocked in the turbulent seas as the torpedo struck true and the Destroyer went up in flames. "Ja, good job," congratulated the Admiral, as one Polish destroyer sank to the bottom of the Gulf of Danzig.

2:00, Sept 5th
The whistle of a mortar falling on our position awoke me. I stood up in a hurry and grabbed my rifle. "What the devil is going on?!" I shouted. "Six Polish divisions are attacking!"
"Push them back! KILL THEM!" screamed the Major General. As one, we opened fire on the advancing troops. Scores went down as the rest dived for cover. I fired some more, then grabbed a pipe-grenade and hurled it to the nearest Polish cover. The ground exploded in a shower of dust and blood. Behind us, we heard the tell-tale signs of a Panzer approaching. Ducking to the ground, the Panzer fired its cannon and the ground rumbled. Ahead of us, a bigger explosion erupted and a dozen Poles went down cold. An hour later, the order went out to retreat, and we grabbed our stuff and darted out of there. Beside me, my friend went down as six different bullets struck him in the sides and back. He twisted around and fired his rifle, while screaming, "COME AND GET ME, YOU SCUM! DIE!" An artillery round answered him.

23:00, Sept 5th
"ABANDON SHIP! ABANDON SHIP!" howled the Rear Admiral as the stern burned, illuminating the dark night. A flash to the left indicated cannon fire from an enemy ship. A horrible, screeching noise came as metal twisted itself into indistinguishable shapes and sizes. As the last sailors of the German destroyer jumped overboard, the Destroyer exploded into tiny fragments as a third shell struck the forward magazine compartments.

2:00, Sept 6th
A man ran to a screaming news-boy, still in his pyjamas. The headlines screamed, "FREE CITY OF DANZIG CAPTURED BY GERMANY!" 'Oh no,' thought the man. 'We're losing the war! We're doomed! Oh god, no!!' He collapsed onto the pavement, sobbing even as the first Panzers rolled into Torun.

13:00, Sept 6th
In England, the Royal Navy received a heart-wrenching report. All sailors aboard the HMS Carlisle and HMS Curlew light cruisers were killed by German U-boats. They would receive dozens more reports of the same kinds for the next six years.

15:00, Sept 6th
"RETREAT!" hollered the commander. I ducked, jumped, weaved and loped my way out of Kosice. I ran hard, not looking back for a second. When I finally stopped to rest my breath, it was to the sound of the Polish cavalry charging my down my fellow comrades. Tears sprang to my eyes, and I hurriedly brushed them away as I shouldered my rifle and continued my retreat from Kosice.

16:00, Sept 6th
"Excellent, thank you," said a representative of Mauser Werke as he carried the contract to develop the Early Marine Division. I.G. Farben likewise took a contract to research Production Planning. Ernst Udet has a stroke of knowledge and began to hurriedly write up the Night Strafing Doctrine. Hugo Sperrle had a brainwave and began the first drafts of the Frontal Missions Doctrine. Hermann Goring has been having an affair with Hugo Sperrle's mistress when she suddenly cried out and he got the idea to write up the Escort Box System Doctrine.

10:00, Sept 7th
The depth charge exploded just meters from the U-boat. A crack appeared on the side of the U-boat, and it widened to a fissure as water poured in and began to drown the brave Kriegsmarine sailors within. 'You'll regret that, British scum!' was the commander's dying thought.

17:00, Sept 7
"Son of a BITCH!" I yelled as my division was forced from Kielce yet again. "That's the third time we've been put in retreat! What the hell are they feeding their soldiers!" A deafening roar to my left indicated several Panzers firing their cannons from behind as they fled a scene of carnage. Bodies littered the roads, houses were demolished, and horses lay in puddles of their own blood. Hoisting my rifle on my shoulder, I dropped to one knee, took aim, and fired. In the distance, a Polish cavalryman collapsed to the ground. "Score one for Herr Hitler, you bastards!" I shouted. A bullet entered my forehead and exited out the back of brain.
A Polish machine gunner muttered, "Score one for the Allies, German pig!"

4:00, Sept 8th
"General Grun, you are hereby promoted to Field Marshall Grun. Congratulations." Grun nodded impercetibly and promptly took command of the 14. Armee, of 10 divisions. He instantly ordered them to attack, and attack they did, slaughtering hundreds of Poles in just 30 minutes.

5:00, Sept 8th
"FORWARDS!" screamed the Commanders. All along the Kielce border, sixteen German divisions attacked thirteen Polish divisions. For ten hours, the battle raged. Ground was held and lost, officers died and fought, and soldiers fought for what they believed in. Alas, the Germans were more populous, and they fought their way through flesh, bone and blood, and ultimately, the victors of the gruesome battle.

16:00, Sept 12th
Days later, twelve German divisions massacred two Polish divisions in Warsaw. Despite being ridiculously outnumbered, the Poles lasted for five hours then retreated across the river.

3:00, Sept 13th
Combat erupts in southern Poland yet again as the Battle of Przemysl erupts. Panzers, footsoldiers, horses and artillery blast each other from across streets as humanity threatenened to rip itself apart.

8:00, Sept 14th
"Wait, wait, wait. You expect our two divisions to take on three Polish divisions on a freaking hill?"
"Yep."
"You're insane!"
"Yep."
"You're sending us to our deaths!"
"Yep.
"You'll live to regret this!"
"Yep."

7:00, Sept 15th
Two German divisions is forced into retreat from Suwalki after twenty-three hours of hard fighting.

5:00, Sept 16th
After three days of fighting, Germany finally expells the Poles from Lublin. Many lives have been lost, but many more Polish lives were lost, and thats why Hitler slept that night.

20:00, Sept 16th
The German Admiral cried himself to sleep that night aboard a transport ship as he thought of his beloved, and ruined KMS Deutschland. Four hours later, he broke open a champagne bottle as good news arrived to all German forces.

00:00, Sept 17th
Germany and the Soviet Union reclaim their lost territories from Poland and annex it. German forces immediately begin redeployment to the Western Front.

Poland annexed.

Strategic redeployment commences.

15:00, Sept 18th
The Heavy Cruiser KMS Graf Spee goes down in a blaze of glory. And fire. British celebrate another victory. Another Admiral commits seppuku in Kiel.

11:00, Sept 23rd
In Germany's most brilliant and spectacular victory yet, German submarines sink two British carriers, one light cruiser and one destroyer. Admiral Donitz gets drunk on celebration night and is witnessed throwing up in Hitler's dinner.

Hitler was not pleased.

"Adolf Hitler does not care about Soviet people!"

If you are allied with the SU, how come it says in the 1st of September screenie that "The SU has left the military alliance she had with Germany and Slovakia"? Is that ment to happen?
