Letting your vassals educate your child doesn't give 20+ opinion after 1.03b

I haven't been able to get the opinion bonus from any of my vassals that are wards for my children (I often send my daughters to vassals). I certainly remember this being the case when I started playing, when it came out this tuesday. But after the patch, the screen says (as it did before) that I'm supposed to get 20 opinion bonus from vassals that will educate my child, but every time I check afterwards, the vassal still has the same opinion of me.

I have noted this several times, anyone else can confirm this?
