On multiple occasions in this mod I've seen liberation revolts (i.e. revolts to liberate a kingdom from wrong culture/religion rulers) have weird effects. Two common ones are:
1) A Farosi Liberation revolt in Qarth (which often happens) results in the duchy of Qarth (including the city of Qarth itself) becoming independent from the Kingdom of Qarth, under a Farosi ruler. This could be prevented by splitting the Qartheen provinces in Faros into their own de jure duchy.
2) The Valyrian Triarchs of Volantis being overthrown by a Volantene/R'hllor revolt (could easily be prevented by forbidding Liberation Revolts in the capital region of Valyrian culture rulers).

Agreed, it's surprisingly bothersome to see these oddities.

I've also seen this happen (actually had it happen to me) as Xandarro Xhore on Axe Isle: since the provinces are Basilisk Islander and the Ruling Dynasty is Qartheen, there's a rare chance whenever I start a campaign that 3,000 angry Basilisk Islanders will rise up on one of his vassal isles before anyone in the Isles in even close to that level of power..

This is odd, a solution like that would be good.

This particular situation has been made less likely for the next update.

This probably shouldn't happen for pirates in their core regions, I will look into a solution.

My personal favorite is when there's a Westerosi Valyrian rebellion on Dragonstone

.

I've also seen Northman liberation revolts trigger against the Night's Watch if the Lord Commander has a foreign culture (i.e. all the time).
