As the title says, I've noticed that the game doesn't trace inheritance to great-grandchildren. In one example, my character (Dubravka, the 74-year old countess of Veglia and Senj, Agnatic-Cognatic Gavelkind) was set to be inherited by the King of Croatia (her eldest son's eldest son). When the king died, his eldest son should have been next in line for my titles, right? Instead, my new heir was my second-eldest son. I panicked, and went on an assassination spree. In addition to essentially destroying Dubravka's line of the Trpimirovic family, I realized that no great-grandchildren ever became heirs. Needless to say, this somewhat ruined my dynastic plans, and led to me losing the game when some tangentially related nephew-in-law or whatever inherited.

Attached is a save game from several years before the death of Dubravka's grandson and the senile woman's murderous rampage.
