Hello,

I have Europa Universalis 4 on Epic Games, but I would like to play it through Steam (because I use Linux, so I need Steam compatibility layer), anyways.. I linked my Epic Games and Steam account with Paradox account, but I dont see Europa Universalis 4 in owned games "Your Games", I see only games from my Steam, but not from Epic.

It doesn't work like that, and it never will. They are two different stores, why would they grant access to their products just because you've bought it (or in this case, got it for free on Epic) from their competitor? If you want to play EU4 on this setup you'll need to purchase it from Steam, there's no other way.

Ah because I found this post on reddit:
That reddit post is more than a year older than the epic version. They are talking about a different situation. I think the comment assumed that the person bought the physical copy of the game and AFAIK it included a way to get the steam version via a paradox registration(but I think this has been discontinued a long time ago). But the poster said in another comment that they bought it from Gameolith, but the archived version of their store page suggests that they were just selling steam keys(e.g. because it has a steam icon next to the buy link and because it says that the game uses "steamworks" DRM which would not work for a non-steam version), so I have no idea how they legally got a windows-only version of the game several years before that post(before it was released on the microsoft/xbox store in 2019, it was only available on steam and on DVD(AFAIK only the release version)).

I would like to play it through Steam (because I use Linux, so I need Steam compatibility layer)
Which steam compatibility layer are you talking about? If you have the steam version of the game, you don't need a compatibility layer, because steam offers the native linux version.
And the windows-epic version of the game can probably be used with the windows compatibility layer wine (e.g. via a frontend like lutris). The game itself has run pretty well in wine for a long time(I think you need to install some directx stuff and visual c++ runtimes(I think the 2019 version for the current eu4 version) like the other comments suggest), but the launcher, epic client and epic DRM might cause problems. Still the native Linux version runs better with less problems. If you didn't buy any DLCs on epic, you might want to buy the steam version on the next sale(usually 5 $/€). Steam also offers a DLC subscription for 5 $/€ per month which can be a relatively cheap way to play with all DLCs if you don't play for a long time.

Disclaimer: I'm not working for Paradox. I'm just trying to help people.

I use Wine for Epic version, I had problem that game didn't launch after pressing "Play" in EU4 launcher, but I solved it by disabling DXVK, and it runs quite good now, but yeah I will probably buy Steam version (because of workbench etc..), I play other Paradox games through Steam like City Skylines and it runs great :)
