Linking Paradox account to access mods

I've recently downloaded Cities Skylines for Xbox and it's playing fine - unless I want to use mods. I need to sign in to my Paradox account to access mods, but when I try to sign in I get, "An error occurred while linking your Paradox account. Server error (32001)". If I instead try to create an account in-game, I get a different message; "An error occurred while creating a new Paradox account. Server error (52400)". Any ideas where I'm going wrong? Thanks.

I have disconnected those accounts now, please try again.
 
Getting EXTREMLY sick of trying to get my paradox account WORKING!!!!! You DAMN GEEKS AND NERDS PLEASE GET YOUR ACT together!!!!!!!!! UNACCEPTABLE! HELP!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Sync DOES NOT WORK! GRRRRRRR

There is no Xbox account linked to the Paradox account for this forum name. Have you perhaps linked it to some other Paradox account already?
 
Hi, seems to be a somewhat common enough thing then but im having the same problems and error codes when trying to link accounts to access mods on Xbox. Could i bother you for the same help fixing it please? Its been at it a few days now.

The Paradox account linked to this forum name is not linked to any Xbox account. Have you perhaps linked it to some other Paradox account already?
 
If you have the Xbox edition of the game, you get access to custom assets here:
mods.paradoxplaza.com

There are no true mods possible for consoles.

You don't; the mods provided on that website are only for the actual Xbox version, there are none for the PC/gamepass version I'm afraid.

I've now disconnected that account from Xbox , but left the Steam account connected.
