I don't know if this has always been the case but to me it seems to me that cross-playing as a native Linux user seems to cause constant de-syncs. Playing with proton enabled does seem to make it less painful( and makes it so you do not need to case-folding for mods) with only de-syncs that *seem* to be unrelated to the OS, but every random count OOS makes me doubt if its working correctly.
does anyone have any tricks for increasing cross play stability? other then using proton (I had high hopes for proton 10 but that just makes your game crash when you open the multiplayer menu.) Id like to use native as it does load much faster but I have not found any way to do that without subjecting my friends to multiple re-syncs a session
