Has anyone tried getting this working in Linux?

I haven't tried it with Wine yet, but I am guessing it *ough* to work since its not using any fancy 3d graphics.

I can't imagine the developers do their work in a windows environment ..? Are there any linux binaries around? Surely all you need is a binary and the data files from the retail CD?

Anyway, wine first, altho native support would be nice.

Rob.

Only way to know if it will work on your system is to try it.
It is not a supported operating system though so you do so at your own risk.
Having said that I have heard reports of people getting Paradox games to work under Linux.

Let me know how it works out for you.

all the games of parad work with winex. see www.transgaming.org. ive posted there under zerby.

cedega is the name nowadays (winex 4).

2 problems: no music (but sound effects), and: no online gaming.

i remember that a linux company (linux game publishing..???) was considering or negogiating with paradox games to port it.

Interesting.
