Is there a list of the 3-letter country abbreviations around anywhere? Of course, 90% of them are self-evident, but certain ones keep eluding me (what the heck is the abbreviation for Ragusa, for example? Doesn't seem to be listed in EU Spy.)

Thanks.

You can always look in the save files - the ones with the .eug ending. Click on a city of a country you don't know and take down its name (the city name, not the province name), then open up a save file, search for the city name. Page up until you get to the start of the country file (look for the tag = XXX where XXX is the abbreviation).

BTW, does anyone know how many new minors were added by the IGC? THe non-European ones were obvious - Ethiopia, Thailand (athyu.. whatever), Dai Viet. However, Europe has so many minors to begin with it's hard for me to figure out. I know about Ragusa and then there's that one province next to Russia that Russia vassalizes immediately. Also the IGC seems to have eliminated Cyrenica since they gave the CYR tag to another minor.

I would like to see still more non European minors - military annexations are far more fun than trying to build up colonies.

I agree, the best games are those where you start as a tiny country and build it up to become one of the superpowers. In my first GC I played as France and it suddenly got boring after I annexed England. Now I'm playing Algeria and the game is almost over but I haven't gained any province yet! But that's partially because my strategy wasn't too good.
