List of Direct Command mode commands

I've been trying to find a HOWTO for Direct Command mode. I've never used it. I've entered into it, but couldn't figure anything out (not even how to steer), and so just exited back into regular battle mode. I've looked through these forums, but because of the inexplicable lack of a search option....it's not easy to find something here.

Does anyone have a list of commands? Or is there a Wiki or HOWTO or tutorial out there that someone can post a link to?

W and S control sails, A and D direction, Q and A shoot respectively left and right broadside. And 1-0 control captain's skills. That's it.

Thanks! Do you mean "Q and E" shoot, not "Q and A"? As you listed "A" being a direction key.

Yeah, Q and E shoot left and right side cannons.

according to the manual:
esc = options
f1-5 = select respective ship
p pause
f show/hide ship names
w open sails
s heave sails
a turn left
d turn right
q fire ls cannons
e fire rs cannons
tab change camera
bkspc change battle cam
1-9 use active skill
g show/hide gui

Inside the plastic game case the game came in. Kind of glad I didn't buy it through steam though that is where I heard of it.
I believe it installed a pdf somewhere that is the same as the printed manual.
