I'LL START OFF BY SAYING I DID NOT CREATE ANY OF THESE MODELS, THEY WERE FOUND ON FREE SITES LIKE THE 3D WAREHOUSE!
Hello, I decided to start this thread because there are so many models to choose from in the 3D warehouse that I come across that are low poly and would be a good fit for the game but for my own reasons may not want to convert them over to be workable versions in Cities Skylines. One reason is because some of these models need to be completely re-mapped and textured and that takes a bit of work. Another reason is because all of the models need to be optimized a bit by cleaning out all the unnecessary interior and wasted triangles that you will never see and cause load time increases in the game.

It's primarily 3DS Max based but it has a lot of information that can carry over to other programs.

I will continue to update this thread when I find new models that I think are cool but just don't have to the time to get around to. It is not limited to just vehicles either, they are just what I've been looking at recently.
** IMPORTANT **
Please do not try to just upload as is! The majority of these models are 6,000 Polys and under. They need to be Optimized, Re-Mapped and Textured. According to Skylines Wiki page "Vehicles typically have 500-1000 triangles". So I personally have set a limit at 3,500 triangles when shooting for an optimization goal but if I can get the model even lower that is great! Triangles doesn't mean your poly count either, look at the triangle count.
If you do upload any of these models into the game please give credit to the original author! Thanks
