There is Lore Loa section that says Loa uses cube for everything. Yet when as long you have at least 50 or 5000 biosphere. Then Loa Imperial citizens are incapable of growing at all without a fleet, with cube, support mission. I tested the mechanics myself in-game.

I just find it very very weird and sorta just a little illogical. Why? The very colony ships themselves are made from cubes right? So it stands to reason that imperial citizens would from time to time utilize their own infrastructure to manufacture more cubes for cuberraform* that doesn't show up on strategic level.

I tested this theory by building a 10k cube from a 1359 imperial citizens with 100 infrastructure. It worked aside from the obvious lack of fund (Or in case of Loa Energy) to sustain the grow from very small civilians taxes.

I tried using compositions with assimilators or without. Composition configs do not affect the growth speed at all. So clearly the cubes are the key to colonization speed. So I am basically wondering WHY are Loa not taking advantage of infrastructure already present on the ground to cuberraform* the biosphere?

One way to stimulate the loss of cube due to normal support process is to mark it as energy debt on a slider within planet's infocard. I don't see any reason to change how cuberraform* should be done from other 6 carbonite life forms.

If the local fauna is problematic then Loa can use some of those militarized war walkers mentioned in the manual to go all terminator on them. Mountain and hills? Use it as raw material for Cuberraform. River and Lakes? Dam the river for energy generation and drying up the river and lake.

cuberraform* = Loa terraform using cubes.
