Summary​

Loading saved game

Expected Result​

I load up the game. I get to the main menu and click on continue game.

Actual Result​

I can not continue my saved game. Instead of loading it just stays on the main menu

Steps to reproduce​

I loaded up the game from my Home Screen. It loads up no problem to the main menu. I then press on continue game and nothing happens. I then go into load game, select the latest save and again nothing happens. This only started to happen after the latest update for the remastered version. (I have used remastered since release)

There is no game version on my menu screen. It’s the latest remastered version.

I brought 3 dlc,s on the update day
Shopping malls
Hotels and resorts
Sports venues
The game worked fine after installing these, but later in the day when I loaded up the game, my saved city would not load. 5 half months been building this city too

Can you start a new game?

I know of no way to recover saved games in consoles. You are locked out.

Just make sure to manually save the game when done, with a new name. Then you can go in and delete old saved games when it starts getting full.

Also, how full in the drive? Maybe it got full during a saved game and had no room left and corrupted the saved game and is now unusable?

Yes I can start a new city but don’t get why this one has gone wrong. Still plenty of storage free
