Hey everyone, one of my favourite parts of hoi and dd is the events. So I am going to attempt to rework the events of dd to coincide with the timeline of the war here: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Timeline_of_World_War_II . I am also going to try and expand on certain elements in the game, such as the neutrality if sweden- giving options for sweden to cave to german demands for use of the swedish rail system and continued ore trade- things like that. I am hoping to have a load of events for all the countries I like to play (CAN, JAP, SAF, BRA) and a larger list of countries that are important that before (hopefully adding event trees to ast, nzl, central and south american countries, the various abdications and things like that)

I start this thread to sorta see if anyone else wants to help with anything. I don't really need a whole lot of help doing it, just I don't have all the time in the world. Also I wanted to know if anyone who is good at ai modding could help create some ai switches for various countries as needed.

I will be trying to get a lot of this done durring my winter break, and until then I have exams and such that have to take priority.

Also if anyone is working on their own events and would like to lend them to me for this mod, I will appreciate it and do likewise in return- as soon as I have some events.
 
Well, hi.
Some time ago i made some "flavour" events (those unimportant) about births of famous people of 1936 according to this , and this.

It's incomplete because my intention was to make flavour events from all those wikipedia entries, and i was too lazy to complete it. (Damn Oblivion :D )

I am sorta writing out a storyline of the different events I want to have, but I have a question for people: If i do events that say a city was bombed and therefor the ic is permanent lost but a couple manpower is gained- cause they're pissed off- would that be against the Paradox no terror bombing policy? I wouldn't mention any terror bombing just that there was a simple bombing run on a city. I will also give germany, usa and uk the option of doing the bombing run or not, at a cost of neutral countries relationship loss, maybe lose a bomber division or two but lower dissent.
