This is my first post here so... hi 
I feel kind of bad for coming here for first time asking for help, but god damnit I have a problem which is driving me nuts. I've already asked in many places without luck, and spent a lot of hours trying to fix it.
Basically I made this thing like a week ago.
Uploaded it to the workshop, and then people suggested me to make a custom LOD for it. So I made one, and imported the whole thing again. It looked 100% ok on the Asseet Editor, but surprise surprise, it didn't work in game. Here is what I mean.
The lower pictures are the ones with the custom LOD (and its custom texture). As you can see, it works perfectly in the Asset Editor, but while the LOD model shows up correctly in game, the LOD texture doesn't. It always get or a 100% reflective texture, an automatic LOD texture which looks like crap, and some times the game loads correctly just a part of the LOD texture but autogenerates other parts, as seen here:
And at one time the game decided to pick the LOD of another model I made weeks ago which wasn't even on the Import folder. SERIOUSLY? WHY. WHYY
This is what the import folder looks like:
In green the proper model archive and maps, and in red the LOD archive and maps.
This I've already tried:
-Changed the "LOD" part of the name to lower and uppercase trying many combinations: model archive in uppercase and maps in lowercase, everything in uppercase, everything in lowercase, model archive in lowercase and maps in uppercase, all of this with .fbx and .dae model archives
-Exported the models again many many many many many many times
-Added 100% black specular map for the LOD, still I would get some times a reflective LOD model
-Added 100% black color maps. Just in case
-Imported the models in .dae and .fbx, I even tried importing the proper model in .dae and the LOD in .fbx and vice versa. I mean, WHAT IF IT WORKED


-Made a new LOD model from scratch. YES
-Changed the size of the LOD maps, upscaled from 512x512 to 1024x1024 and downscaled to 256x256
-Many other things I don't remember because of the sleep deprivation
And every. single. time, the LOD map would show up correctly in the Asset Editor, but never, ever, ever, in game.
In the time I spent doing all of this I could have made a new whole model
This is driving me crazy
