So before I begin, I want to STRESS that I searched all the PA wikis, read the tutorials, went through the change logs, and verified there were no forum posts with this issue.
CHANGE LOGS
Alpha 24 Performance of logic gates much increased (helps with large circuits)

0010826: [Other] Logic still broken since after Alpha 25b (Icepick) - resolved.
doesn't say what it fixed exactly.

As it is explained to me, the logic bridge turns a given power cable into an input which can be received by any logic circuit on that same power cable. Nice touch on color coding the entire wire as to leave no doubt the bridge is working.

According to what few sources I can find, equals is SUPPOSED to be "Identity" meaning if its input is ON its output is ON, and vice versa. ONE in ONE Out.
As it functions however is as a comparison between TWO Inputs, being Green if they are the same, and red if they are different.

I have tried every electrical component in the game with a single connection to an Equals, and none will produce a RED LIGHT (for OFF), and DEFAULT is ON.

1. So Either Equals is meant to be identity, for use with the logic bridge, One input One output (which is completely broken)

I want to write an article on implementing Logic circuits and Logic Bridges. Since there isn't anything VERY complete, and its poorly documented in the few places it is.

or
2. Its meant to be Two inputs for Comparison and given the Truth Table listed on

It would be the only Logic Gate that returns TRUE for two matching inputs regardless of True or False. Which makes sense in a way.

IF the second is the expected behavior, which logic (or is there one) for IDing the signal on the electrical cable from the bridge?
