Hi guys,

Looks like alot of people are having problems with loging into EIC. I got my beta version from Fileplanet, and using the given login and password, i get a wrong password message.

Some people were playing the game last night, but cant now, and some have been able to play single player, either by bypassing the login screen, or by chance.

Little help?

The wrong password problem is ongoing. I'm not sure how folks are by passing the log-in screen and playing single player. I've tried myself, and the program always closes if I try to by pass the log-in prompt. I assume this is by design. They are still trying to work out the problem.

Would be a good idea to edit out the log-in information in your post as well. It's the same for all beta testers, but it's beta information that should be left confidential. Since this is a public forum it'd be a good idea to remove that from your post.
 
Because the beta forums are on fileplanet and they're not doing anything. There is a problem with the login server and it needs to be fixed. Its refusing connection attempts to verify the password and people in the beta can't do anything.
Fileplanet is trying to blame routers and firewalls, but bare direct to the internet connections are not fixing the problem.
Paradox interactive needs to get on the ball.
 
Apparently the beta servers may be on some kind of a schedule. They seemingly go up for a short time, a few people can login, then like 30 minutes later no one can login again. Yet there has been no published schedule anywhere nor explanation for this. This is perhaps the most ridiculously run beta I've ever been in.
 
The BETA issues

No secret schedule, just an unfortunate issue arising from the massive interest in this BETA and an unforeseen issue with the servers. Should be up and running now.

Hi all,
Sorry again for the problems with the login and hopefully everyone has got in easily after the improvements with the login-server. Please remember that there will be no such system in the final game. The login-box is only there so that we can easily end the open beta.
And the username and password for the login should have been provided to you from Fileplanet and they are the same for everyone.
