Hello all,

I played a fair share of Darkest Hour singleplayer. At the moment i am looking for roleplay and cooperative type of playthrough. The idea is to control a country like Germany with other players. For example one player control one army group, the other the air force. Then we could create battle plans, discuss next moves.

Is anyone interested in this?

Hrál jsem slušný podíl Darkest Hour singleplayeru. Momentálně hledám roleplay a kooperativní typ hraní. Cílem je ovládnout zemi jako Německo s dalšími hráči. Například jeden hráč ovládá jednu armádní skupinu, druhý letectvo. Pak bychom mohli vytvořit bitevní plány, prodiskutovat další tahy.

compromise by turning speed way down or, god forbid, pause!
if you pause you might as well play sandbox

no matter what your ideal is requires alot of patience and libations
 
it's a fun idea! I've done this once or twice with other people, carving up the ostfront between 3 players. problem is the same as regular multiplayer tho; pausing, sync issues, finding reliable players for a long campaign, etc.
 
In our multiplayer games we tend to divide areas of responsibility to different players, regardless of actual nation units present.
For example, one commands the eastern front, one the Atlantic and one the Mediterranean/north Africa.
What about production? Have you got long strat discussions what to research asap and what kind of army to build, what kind of navy etc.?

We do indeed.
Of course it can vary. Sometimes there is not much discussion before the game start, but a lot of discussion in between sessions.
In one of our current games, UK got a bit overwhelmed by the German naval build. A fair amount of theory crafting and play testing was done to come up with viable counters.
