I'm playing a LAN with a human USSR, Germany, Italy and myself as the UK. To summarize where we are currently: March 1940, Italy and Germany have lost most of their navies...(I've lost 3DDs :D ) and Italy has lost Libya and Sicily, Germany has played historically, with the exception of taking France in late 1939.

I'm not worried about a Sea Lion...my naval supremacy is too great. I have Manpower problems already, the UK has ridiculously low MP in '38 scenario and I haven't lost a single unit nor taken many casualties. I guess I can disband a lot of my garrison troops as the tiny threat of a sea lion evaporates.

I'm looking for suggestions for my short and long term strategies. Basically, what is going to be the best way I can weaken Barbarossa when it is launched?

I was thinking that my two best options are to prepare a large invasion of Italy for the spring of '41 or to start building up a strategic bomber force.

How effective are bombers, how many would I need to really weaken Germany's IC/TC in order to help the Soviet player? I've never tried strategic bombing before.

A third option may be the Balkans, I think the Axis is about to invade Yugoslavia and Greece. Romania is still neutral.

Thanks for your opinions
